The client’s wish was to transform and inject an otherwise cookie-cutter apartment unit with a personality which would reflect a crossroad between mid-century modernity and a tropical casual laidback vibe through a palette of cement wash floor, custom timber joineries and a curated selection of loose furnitures. The extra study room is connected to the master bedroom through the creation of a semi-private study nook, which allows visual connectivity between the rooms thus enhancing the spaciousness of the master suite, while the other room functions as a gallery-cum-rumpus room for the client.
