Co-founded by five individuals from diverse creative backgrounds, STUDIO TALK is based in Jakarta and Bali, united by a shared vision: to elevate the quality of life by bridging human needs through architecture, interior, and furniture design.
We believe that the most successful projects are born from open dialogue and the exchange of ideas between clients and designers. This collaborative approach allows us to find the most effective solutions while navigating the unique challenges presented by each project.
Our commitment is to create spaces that are not only sensitive, imaginative, and contextual but also highly functional. Our designs prioritize a user-focused approach, where practicality meets creativity. We embrace the opportunity to challenge conventions, exploring innovative material use and reimagining traditional typologies with fresh perspectives.
Materiality and the creation of warm, inviting spaces lie at the core of our design philosophy. We believe these elements are essential to enhancing the experiential quality of any space. In every project, our goal is to work closely with our clients, unlocking and maximizing the potential within the given constraints to create inspiring and memorable built environments.

Anissa received her Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture from Trisakti University in Jakarta, Indonesia. She began her career as an architectural designer in Singapore in 2010. In 2014, she returned to Jakarta to join a multinational firm, where she led the design team for regional projects, including private residences and mid- to high-rise buildings. In 2016, Anissa co-founded Studio Talk with four partners and has been actively involved in its development and operations since. She is a licensed architect (Arsitek Madya) and an active committee member of Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia (IAI) Jakarta. As a working mother of two, Anissa is dedicated to developing design solutions—whether for furniture or larger projects—that contribute positively to child-friendly environments. She views this as a pressing issue in a developing country like Indonesia and hopes that through Studio Talk and Ibu Arsitek, she can effectively address this concern.

She received her dual degrees—a Bachelor of Art and a Bachelor of Design—from the University of Pelita Harapan in Indonesia and Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia, in 2013. Before founding STUDIO TALK, she gained significant experience working on various interior design projects, with a particular focus on retail and F&B concepts.
In 2019, Levina pursued a Master’s degree in Advanced Design Management at Elisava in Barcelona while working remotely and residing in Europe until 2023. This influence is evident in her choice of materials, colors, and shapes, which reflect a deep appreciation for the region's aesthetic heritage.
Since 2014, Levina has been involved in over 100 projects across Jakarta, Bali, and other cities in Indonesia. She currently works primarily from Bali, managing local projects and continuing to infuse her designs with a balance of thoughtful refinements and playful, out-of-the-box ideas.

Beyond interior design, she has an affinity for the sense of smell, understanding its unique connection to memory and the brain. This led her to found her brand, Normal Estate, which adds a distinctive layer to her approach to space, by considering how scent can influence the overall experience.
Levina's dream is to collaborate with Indonesian cities in designing more communal spaces that can be enjoyed publicly. With her curiosity for life and passion for culture, she remains committed to continuous learning and innovation in her field.

Easily goes by the name Ames, Prameswari earned her Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Manitoba in Canada in 2016. Prior to that, she partially attended Binus University’s Faculty of Engineering, majoring in Architecture in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Her family was quite nomadic throughout her childhood, and upon finally settling back in Indonesia, she completed her first internship at an architecture firm based in Sudirman, working on residential and private resort projects. Ames then continued her career at a multidisciplinary design consultancy based in Bintaro, where she expanded her expertise in hospitality and office design.
In early 2018, Ames joined STUDIO TALK as one of the first few team members alongside Hendar. She has become well-acquainted with the dynamics of design and its diverse range of projects. Ames's interest in design is not confined to a particular style; instead, she is fascinated by the design process itself and how it affects behavior.
So much so that Ames treats design as a language and admires its ubiquity. Similar to languages, she finds joy in learning tips and tricks about design, being mindful of its sensitivity in catering to various audiences and situations.
During her spare time, in addition to occasional sports activities, Ames enjoys tinkering with technology and finding ways to improve daily tasks. She also loves diving into the arts, indulging in hobbies such as doodling, illustrating, painting, and arts and crafts. A guilty pleasure of hers is watching anime.
When asked about her dream project, Ames would love to be involved in designing a school or campus in its entirety. Having enjoyed her university years, she deeply appreciated how well-designed and maintained facilities inspired her to keep learning.

Prior to joining STUDIO TALK in early 2023, Atsa completed her Bachelor’s in Architecture at BINUS University by the end of 2022. Throughout her study, she also immersed herself in volunteering and organizational activities which fueled her excitement of creative planning and exploration. She started to dive into working environments in her third year of study as an intern in architectural firms.
As an observant, she often finds joy in visual compositions. She started her interest in graphics and photography as a kid. Her creative pursuit then evolves into design practice in which forms and functions integrate seamlessly to connect with people. Architecture broadens her curiosity furthermore to cultivate spaces by involving human senses and social behavior. She is currently thriving to explore and make the most of it.
Beyond that, she tends to enjoy the simple pleasure of moving around, whether it's walking or running through a neighborhood. It somehow keeps her engaged to the dynamics of the city. However, she often seeks to escape the hustle-bustle and break the routine by traveling to nature or just experiencing different cities, in which she believes that every place offers its unique souls to be discovered.
If Atsa were defining herself in geometric form, she might choose a curve, especially those that change direction. It represents fluidity and adaptability which convey a sense of graceful, continuous, and uninterrupted motion. This reflects her perception of a progress that is not linear but rather evolving through changes.

Gabriella completed her Bachelor of Interior Design (Honours) at Raffles Design Institute in 2023. She began her journey with Studio Talk as an intern in 2022 and has since transitioned into a full-time role, where she has been contributing for, in total, nearly two years. Reflecting on her childhood, Gabriella loved playing with Lego, especially the Creator line, which is designed to spark imagination and encourage creative building. From a young age, her family frequently entrusted her with small creative decisions, an experience that inadvertently cultivated her creative process and ultimately guided her toward a career in interior design.
As an interior designer, Gabriella is passionate about both commercial and residential projects. She is particularly drawn to the dynamic nature of interior design, where spaces actively influence and respond to the behaviors and activities of their occupants. She finds the opportunity to explore various concepts for commercial spaces exhilarating, yet transforming one’s house called home is fulfilling. Despite the contrasting nature of these projects, she embraces the duality and enjoys the excitement each brings.
Beyond her passion for interior design, Gabriella recently discovered a new interest in floral design. Initially, as a structured person, it felt against her nature to work with the raw, unpredictable elements of flowers. However, through this new pursuit, she discovered the art of being present, to embrace and to cherish.
